Personal Finance Forms

Personal finance forms allow people to get a picture of their financial position and often helps when trying to decide which turn to take on the road to debt reduction. They clearly show how much income is used each month for non-negotiable bills such as the mortgage or car payment. The forms also show personal assets that can be figured into the financial equation. Generating a picture of one's assets and debt load is a wise move for someone committed to eliminating debt because it allows that person to see in black and white the condition of his or her finances. The first step to solving any problem is getting educated to the nature of the problem and to not let the fear of it cripple the attempts to eliminate it.

Eliminating debt is a wise choice for anyone experiencing the stress of a tight budget. Listing and evaluating all debts and credits help create an accurate starting point from which to begin the debt reduction process. An accountant, banks, credit counselors and even government programs can provide the needed paperwork to get started, or a search on the Internet can also provide much essential information on the subject. Debt reduction is not the only reason people fill out personal finance forms. Often these forms are a requirement when securing a large loan, especially a business loan. Banks want to see the net worth of the applicant and finance forms offer the clearest, most concise picture for the loan officer. A clear picture of personal finances is usually the crucial data that indicates whether financing will be granted and/or what the interest rates will be on that financing.

Whether or not personal finance forms are filled out is ultimately a personal choice, but either way, stay committed to the objective of eliminating debt. This is not only a liberating move, it is a biblical move. Debt reduction takes discipline and commitment, but because God tells us to live with these characteristics anyway, we know we will receive the grace needed to stay the course. The benefits of faithfulness in this and all areas of obedience are not only in the physical realm: financial freedom and less stress, but also in the spiritual realm: God's favor and blessing. Remember, with a signature, it was understood and agreed upon to pay back the loan. It is showing integrity and exhibiting living a godly lifestyle to reduce and alleviate debts. "Lord...who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not." (Psalms 15:1,4)
