Pathway Caring for Children is a private, non-profit agency serving children since 1973 in Canton, Ohio. Staff members and foster caregivers develop caring relationships with the children and seek to help them know that they are unique individuals of worth and value.
We are seeking married couples that have experience in the direct provision of care for children to fill the position of live-in house parents in a newly constructed home in Canton, Ohio. Each home has up to four adolescent youth who have emotional and behavioral issues. The house parents will be responsible for being positive role models as well as providing quality adult supervision, leadership and nurturance for the youth in the home.
Pathway offers a competitive salary and housing package that includes non-taxable housing and utilities, non-taxable food and household allowance and a cash salary. The house parents will also receive a benefit package that includes paid major medical benefits, vacation, employer contribution to 403 (b) (retirement) accounts, credit union, regular respite during which they are relieved of the responsibility of supervision of the children and annual in-service training.
