Can bloggers be considered journalists? Now, bloggers across the globe have taken on the roles of journalist, reporter, and author, thus creating a new blog definition: unreliable. The blogging phenomenon is predicted to grow, and many think it will be the future of the Internet.
Bloggers have the potential of moving into the corporate world soon as evidenced by Google's leap into the foray of blogs. Businesses have also begun creating blogs and capitalizing on them as a resource to promote their product or service, which provides still another answer to what is a blog. Professional bloggers, those who are hired for their blogging services, are few and far between, but the number could be growing as blogs take on new power in the 21st century.
