Perhaps the best way to treat this problem, however, is keeping a healthy lifestyle even before the onset of this period of life. Eating right, maintaining the right weight and exercising can go a long way in helping the body to adjust to this when it comes.

2. Menopause treatments are needed before women stop their periods.

Menopause treatments are needed when a woman reaches the age where her monthly periods come to an end. After this time period, a woman can no longer have children. Most women experience this between the age of forty and sixty, and many women then decide that treatment is needed.

2. Menopause symptoms will include low estrogen levels.

Menopause symptoms may include hot flashes, insomnia, achy joints, headaches, moodiness, change in sexual desire and urinary tract infections. Osteoporosis, thinning of the bones, also occurs more rapidly after menopause. For these reasons, it is important that a woman going through this time consult a physician about what kinds of treatments she should take to reduce the symptoms and possible after effects.

3. Thin women have fewer problems when going through menopause.

Menopause treatments are usually needed more for thin women because it can actually be worse for them. This is due the fact that fat cells can make estrogen which reduces the effects. Menopause symptoms such as hot flashes and moodiness are also more common and occur more frequently in women who have had hysterectomies.

5. Sarah likely had Isaac before she experienced this period of her life.

Genesis 17:17-19 - Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
